Introduction

SimplyAble ("we", "us" or "our") is the retail store of U-Plan Systems. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal information in line with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

Information we collect

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address.
  • Order details: what you've bought from us and any notes you add to your order.
  • Website use: your IP address, browser type and how you use our website.

We don't need health information to sell you a product. If you choose to tell us about your needs so we can help you choose, we use that information only to help you, and we keep it private.

How we collect it

  • From you: when you place an order, sign up to our emails, or contact us by email, phone or in our showroom.
  • Automatically: through cookies and similar technology when you use our website.

How we use it

  • To process, deliver and support your orders.
  • To answer your questions and contact you about your order.
  • To send you emails about products and offers, if you've signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To improve our products, service and website.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers who help us run our store, such as Shopify (our online store platform), payment providers and Aramex (our courier). They use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

We never sell your personal information.

Information stored overseas

Some of our service providers, including Shopify, store information outside New Zealand. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected to the standard the Privacy Act 2020 requires.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You can also withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time.
